School-Year Musical
School-Year Musicals give kids the opportunity to learn/hone their musical theatre skills!
We will hold an audition workshop on the first day of the program where we will teach the audition pieces. Everyone will audition during their second rehearsal.
Rehearsals take place either M/W or T/TH with some Saturday rehearsals for both. Throughout the ten/twelve-week process, kids will sing, dance and act their way through a familiar musical. Everyone enrolled is cast! Space is limited.
Act-Out
Act Out with NCTC! Throughout this seven/eight-week class, kids will have the opportunity to explore different tools like diction and projection to concentration and characterization. They use these tools to help create their role in preparation for a one-act non-musical production. Everyone enrolled is cast in the show and receives a speaking role!
